Scope
Realvision’s (RV) internal whistleblowing channel consists of an online form, available on its website at https://realvision.pt/denuncias, the information from which is sent directly to the email address
This whistleblowing channel ensures the integrity and preservation of the report, the confidentiality of the identity or anonymity of whistleblowers, as well as of third parties mentioned in the report, and exclusive access by persons authorised to access the data contained in the report.
This channel for reporting acts of corruption and related offences should not be used to submit complaints from users regarding the services provided by RV. Such complaints must be submitted in the complaints book, which may be requested from the Administrative Services.
Receipt, processing and conclusion of the report
Before submitting a report, you should:
- Check whether you qualify as a “whistleblower” in accordance with Article 5 of Law No. 93/2021, of 20 December: “a whistleblower is considered to be a natural person who reports or publicly discloses an offence based on information obtained in the context of their professional activity, regardless of the nature of that activity and the sector in which it is carried out, namely: workers, managers and former workers of RV; service providers, subcontractors, suppliers or any persons under their supervision; shareholders or members of statutory bodies; volunteers or trainees, whether paid or unpaid, regardless of the nature of that activity and the sector in which it is carried out.
The status of Whistleblower also applies to any person who has information relating to acts of corruption and related offences for the purposes of the RGPC, approved as an annex to Decree-Law No. 109-E/2021, of 9 December.
Through the internal whistleblowing channel, it is possible to report situations that may constitute offences, by action or omission, which constitute crimes or administrative offences, namely in the following areas:
- Conflict of interest;
- Consumer protection;
- Public health;
- Product safety and compliance;
- Food safety for human consumption;
- Environmental protection;
- Radiation protection and nuclear safety;
- Protection of privacy and personal data;
- Network and information systems security;
- Inappropriate conduct;
- Misuse of resources;
- Discrimination or prejudice;
- Harassment/bullying or sexual harassment;
- Fraud and corruption;
- Money laundering and terrorist financing;
- Other.
Reports must be complete and well-founded, indicating, whenever possible, all detailed information about the facts that occurred and be accompanied by the relevant documentary or other supporting evidence, so that they can be properly handled by RV.
Within seven days, the whistleblower must be notified of receipt of the report by the employee who will follow it up.
The identity of the whistleblower, as well as any information that may directly or indirectly reveal their identity, is confidential and access is restricted to the persons responsible for receiving or following up on reports.
Reports are analysed on a case-by-case basis according to the matters involved, the powers of the authorities and the applicable legislation.
RV informs the whistleblower of the measures planned or adopted to follow up on the report and the respective reasoning, within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt of the report.
RV keeps a record of the reports received and retains them for at least five years and, regardless of that period, for as long as judicial or administrative proceedings relating to the report are pending.
